Not everyone starts with IVF. We begin with the simplest treatment that can work for you, and we move on only if we need to.
Fertility treatment is often spoken about as though there is only one option. There is not. At Angels we work through three stages, and where a couple begins depends entirely on what the assessment shows.
Some couples need the first stage. Some need the second. Some need the third from the start. What matters is that the decision is made after looking properly, rather than by starting at the top.
Nobody is moved to a more involved treatment because it is more involved.

Only then does a plan get discussed with you, and the reasoning is explained rather than announced.
Stage one
The simplest of the three. Your ovaries are gently stimulated, ovulation is monitored with scans, and you and your partner are advised on timing.
There is no procedure and no theatre. For couples whose assessment points this way, it is where we start.
Stage two
A step further. Prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the right point in your cycle.

The most involved of the three, and the one most people have heard of. Eggs are retrieved, fertilised in our laboratory using ICSI, and an embryo is transferred.

Where there are surplus embryos, they may be frozen, subject to clinical suitability and our storage policy.

One cycle that did not work does not mean the end of the road. It may mean the plan was not the right one. We read your previous reports before we form a view.
Please send or bring your previous reports before your appointment rather than on the day, so that your doctor has read them before you sit down.

Some medicines sit outside the treatment package and are charged separately. These are usually supportive medicines after an embryo transfer, and antioxidants. They are needed regularly rather than occasionally, and we will tell you about them before you begin.
We do not run discount offers. The price we quote you is the price you pay.
